Amanda visited Nigeria for work in March and November of 2018.
How to Get Here
The first trip was in combination with visits to Uganda and Tunisia. This resulted in a connection in Istanbul, Turkey. The second trip originated in Seattle and required a layover in Frankfurt, Germany via United Airlines with a destination of Abuja.
Trip Length
Both trips were very quick (less than 7 days) and there was little time for fun due to a heavy workload.
Where to Stay
Amanda stayed at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja. This is a huge hotel (the largest in Africa at the time). A lovely pool, several restaurants and bars. The hotel was in the process of being renovated and the new rooms were modern and clean. Unfortunately, due to the nature and timing of the trip, Amanda did not get to venture outside of the hotel.
