Explore the wonders of America’s National Parks

When Scott was about 10 years old, he went on a family trip out West to see the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Bryce Canyon, Arches, and Badlands national parks to just name a few. It was an epic two week journey where he and his family dropped into each park for a day or two. While not much was done in the way of hiking due to the limited time in each park – this trip sparked Scott’s love for America’s National Parks. Once he had an income of his own, he immediately started using his vacation time to visit the parks and hasn’t stopped since with a goal of visiting them all! A few parks have been added over that time and the total now stands at 63 parks.

Amanda’s introduction to the parks was similar. As a junior in college, she and her family set out in a Econoline camper van on a 3-week cross country journey.  Highlights included Yellowstone, Badlands, Redwoods, and Crater Lake. She credits this trip as the spark that ignited her love for travel.

Through tireless trip planning and blessed with ample vacation time and health, Scott has now reached his goal! In September 2022, we visited Katmai National Park in Alaska to complete Scott’s 63rd park! Amanda’s current count is 40.

We want to share our thoughts on each of these National Parks including the time to spend, great hikes, and must-see locations. Of course, this will also include some of the pictures and memories we have been able to make along this journey. We hope this will help you get out in America’s amazing wilderness and #FindYourPark!

We have organized the National Parks into regions so that you can easily find what parks are in the region of the country you are looking to visit!
